Objective: To analyze the contextual characteristics of labor contracts of dentists in Dental Specialties Centers (CEOs). Material and Methods: Data from the PMAQ-CEO in its 2nd cycle were explored and all 1,097 CEOs in Brazil were evaluated on-site in 2018. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, bivariate analysis by Pearson's chi-square test, binary logistic regression, and adjusted through the Wald stepwise backward procedure. Results: The adjusted model of the binary logistic regression showed that Type I (OR=2.253) and Type II (OR=2.558) CEOs have more than double the odds of having all dental surgeons with statutory employment. CEOs located in municipalities with high Human Development Index (>0.699) and large population size (More than 100,000 inhabitants) exhibit 4.2 times and 2.3 times higher odds of having all dental surgeons with statutory employment (OR=4.208 and OR=2.332). When analyzing the types of contracting agents that are not direct administration: according to the population size, it was observed that the intermunicipal consortium of public/private law is proportionally more present in municipalities with 50 to 100 thousand inhabitants. Conclusion: Although the states in the Northeast region of Brazil have presented the highest rates of implanted CEOs, these are the locations with lower HDI and are the most exposed to non-statutory links.References
