ECOPOLÍTICA E ECOGOVERNAMENTALIDADE NAS POLÍTICAS DO SISTEMA ONU: EMPODERAMENTO LOCAL E RACIONALIDADE AMBIENTAL
POLITICAL ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTALITY ON THE UN SYSTEM POLICIES: LOCAL EMPOWERMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL RATIONALITY
Keywords:
International relations, International politics, Ecopolicy, Environmentality, Environmental rationalityAbstract
This article explores the relationship between the international environmental policies from the
United Nations system and national environmental regimes, in a scalar perspective – global-local. It
presents the state of art of the debate on the relationship between environment and society, from an ecocentric perspective, emphasizing the connection between concepts of ecopolitics, environmentality and environmental rationality. Finally, it presents a critique, under the path of political ecology, of an international environmentality absorbed by national eco-environmental regimes’ adoption and implementation.
