A ORGANIZAÇÃO METEOROLÓGICA MUNDIAL E O SEU PAPEL NA CONSTRUÇÃO DO REGIME DE MUDANÇA CLIMÁTICA

Ao longo da construção do regime de mudança climática, vários atores desempenharam papéis importantes na promoção de espaços nos quais há a possibilidade de discussão e negociação das ações necessárias para a promoção dos bens comuns/coletivos próprios do regime. O objetivo do presente artigo é evidenciar a atuação de um desses atores, a Organização Meteorológica Mundial (OMM), ressaltando seu histórico e seu desenho institucional, bem como expor uma das principais contribuições da OMM para o regime de mudança climática, o Painel Intergovernamental sobre Mudanças Climáticas (IPCC), comunidade epistêmica encarregada de subsidiar técnica e cientificamente eventos e organismos internacionais do regime.
