O REGIME INTERNACIONAL DOS REFUGIADOS E O CAMINHO PARA UMA GOVERNANÇA DAS MIGRAÇÕES

Com exceção dos fluxos de refugiados, a migração internacional tem sido quase invisível na agenda global de políticas públicas. Somente desde o início do milênio, pode-se observar um crescente interesse e conscientização sobre as questões migratórias. Isto reflete a necessidade urgente de a comunidade internacional compreender e abordar este crescente fenômeno trans-soberano e complexo. O objetivo deste trabalho é contribuir para a compreensão da migração em geral e das migrações forçadas. Este considera a possibilidade de uma solução global para o problema da imigração irregular e forçada, que reúne a consideração das questões relativas ao requerente de asilo, à migração laboral e à política de desenvolvimento num quadro de segurança humana.
