Este artigo busca analisar a problemática relacionada à Primavera Árabe, enquadrando o movimento como uma onda democrática de Huntington e apresentando seus principais eventos. O artigo também pretender analisar a formação da identidade coletiva do movimento e como a tecnologia de informação e comunicaçao está relacionada ao desenvolvimento e à participação política nos recentes levantes populares ocorridos em países do Norte da África e do Oriente Médio.
