PREVIOUS NOTE ON THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING PROTOCOLS FOR VERIFICATION AND ANALYSIS OF THE pH OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOIL:
REFLECTIONS FROM THE URPIWACHAQ TEMPLE SITE (EA 106), PACHACAMAC SANCTUARY, CENTRAL COAST OF PERU.
Resumo
This preliminary note highlights the potential for collaborative archaeological research in South America, with a focus on participation in fieldwork at the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located in the Lurín Desert on the central coast of Peru. The objective of this work is to present a portion of the activities and the collection of three archaeological soil samples. These samples will serve as a base model for reflecting on the impacts of pH (acidity) on the conservation of bioarchaeological material in a South American context.
