This article aims to discuss about the evolution of libraries in order to dealing with informational needs of the individuals from Generation Z. The objective is to supply reflections on the metamorphoses by which passes the library, and to deliberate on the main concepts of hybrid libraries and cloud libraries, concentrating on discussing societal and cultural matters and to discourse about the implementation of one of these typologies in the Cultural Space. Additionally to these speculations, the work will consider Information and Communication Technologies and their fundamental role over the changes in libraries' users’ behavior, such as the use of technology for retrieving information, and the new search behaviors that came up in recent years between technology-born people. In order to do so, the methodology relies on a critical-dialectical analysis concerning published works on the subject, which are about the presence of Generation Z users inside the information unities as knowledge consumers. The discussion takes place in the Brazilian context for mere convenience of the reality found by the authors of this report, but allows region reciprocity when embodying the cyberspace, however, delimitates the focal universe to the Cultural Space Bezerra de Menezes. The conclusions point to a lack of papers on the subject, especially when it comes to bibliographies on the concepts of new types of libraries. Another found point on this report's discussions directs to the understanding that the typology that better fitted the new Cultural Space was the hybrid library, since it carries the most elementary characteristics of the unity. The transition from library to Cultural Space will orbited around the activities from the project itself, in which the authors are to articulate the metamorphosis along the completion of the activities.
