THE REMEMBRANCE OF AN ACADEMIC-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

One of John Locke's best-known philosophies was highlighted by the representation of the blank slate, in which the individual, in his genesis, is a blank slate, being shaped by education. In tune with this thought, I corroborate that education was the bulwark for me to form intellectually. Born in João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba, my history and dedication to research began in the second stage of elementary school. Before joining the university, it took three attempts at selection processes for me to find Archivology. The year was 2013, the key date for my insertion at the State University of Paraíba, Campus V, in João Pessoa. There, I went through projects and internships, which integrated my academic and professional itinerary. Such experiences were essential to direct me to the Master's and Doctorate. Currently, in the process of completing a course to be a Doctor in Information Science at the Federal University of Paraíba, I know that this whole movement became possible, because I got to know Archival Science. My journey here was not affected alone, but surrounded by agents who took my hand and showed the way.
