Our goal here is to expose a translation of the poem Ulysses (1842) by Lord Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892). A Ulysses translation seems important to us to have yet another source to investigate some relations between gender studies, history of mentalities and literary representations 1) in Homeric Antiquity and 2) in a dialectical relation between the time in which the poem takes place and the time in which it is produced, a 19th century Modernity.
