Abstract

This academic memorial aims to report the experiences lived on the coordination of the research project "Archival Functions in Digital Environment (FAAD)” and the extension project "HEMODOC: extension project for the organization of the Archive of the Blood Center of Paraíba" for the celebration alluding to the 16th anniversary of the Bachelor's Degree in Archival Science atthe State University of Paraíba (UEPB) and the 10th anniversary of the Revista Análisendo em Ciência da Informação (RACin). As memory records, the main activities, participants and main results of each of the projects are described. In conclusion, the relevance of research and extension for the development of archival knowledge and practices of the academic community of the UEPB Archival Course is highlighted, in order to provide professional training for the provision of excellent services in society.

Mestre em Ciência da Informação pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Especialista em Arquivos e Patrimônio Histórico, Artístico e Cultural Integrado pela Universidade Salgado de Oliveira, campus Recife. Graduado em Arquivologia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Professor do curso de Arquivologia da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB).
