LEYES Y SIMETRÍAS EN METAFÍSICA DE LA CIENCIA

Resumo

Hay diversas razones por las que el debate en torno a la noción de ley de la naturaleza ocupa un lugar central en la metafísica de la ciencia contemporánea. Además, quienes trabajan en este campo se han visto atraídos por la naturaleza y rol de los principios de simetría. Si bien es claro que ambas nociones están fuertemente ligadas, el debate filosófico en metafísica de la ciencia no ha reparado suficientemente en la relación entre ellas. En este trabajo emprendemos una reflexión en tal sentido, explorando, precisamente, el intersticio donde la metafísica de las leyes se articula con la metafísica de las simetrías.

Bruno Borge, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Es Investigador Adjunto del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) y docente de Filosofía de las Ciencias en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (FFyL-UBA), donde dirige proyectos de investigación sobre metafísica y epistemología de la ciencia.

Cristian López, Université de Lausanne, Suíça

Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Buenos Aires y la Universidad de Lausanne. Es Investigador Asociado del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), Senior Chercheur del SNSF de Suiza. Dirige proyectos de investigación en Argentina sobre filosofía de la física y filosofía de las ciencias, y en Suiza sobre filosofía del tiempo y filosofía de la economía.
