The secular citizen and the habermasian transcendent reference point

Abstract

The present work indicates the conversations of Jürgen Habermas when this statement is a necessity of a transcendente and religious reference point to save the individual and modern society the aporia in which it finds. When asking yourself about the secular citizen, ask him whether he can accept this point of reference in terms of the german philosopher. The purpose of this pape ris not to answer a question categorically, but to try, from Habermas‟ documents, to guide a possible answer on the subject.
