Ilusão ou aparência? Uma avaliação hermenêutica de Schein na Introdução da Dialética Transcendental

This paper seeks to investigate the term Schein in the Introduction of Transcendental Dialectic in the Critique of Pure Reason (KrV). This is intended to understand its immediate and contextual meaning and, at the same time, distinguish it from other words used by Kant in this section of the KrV. In general, Portuguese-language translations (from Brazil and Portugal) vary in the translation of the word, sometimes translated as ―illusion‖, sometimes as ―appearance‖. Understanding these variations can shed light on the Kantian application of terms, as well as shed light on their semantic and contextual mastery, thus helping to understand a specific topic of the opening of Dialectic, namely the Transcendental Illusion.
