Reflection and self-perception: some inroads into the reflective act in Edmund Husserl's phenomenology

The article presents some phenomenological specificities about reflection. In the strict sense, the reflective act points to the possibility of thematizing consciousness for itself. Therefore, it is the only act capable of apprehending the global life of consciousness. In the broad sense, it is observed that in his late works, Husserl resizes the scope of acts of reflection, since there seems to be a relationship between acts of reflection, protoconsciousness and the functioning ego. Here what interests us is to think about the possibility of a transcendental reflection on the “living present”.
