Author Biography

Irio Vieira Coutinho Abreu Gomes, Universidade Estadual da Paraíba, Brasil

Graduated in Theology from the Claretian Institute (2018), Philosophy from the Catholic University of Brasília (2014) and Physics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2002). Master's (UFPE, 2006) and PhD (UFPB-UFPE-UFRN, 2010) in Philosophy. He is a professor at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB). Leader of the Research Group in Philosophy of Religion at UEPB and member of the support core of the ANPOF Philosophy of Religion GT, as well as Secretary of ABFR (Brazilian Association of Philosophy of Religion). He develops research in this area based on the Anglophone tradition in its Epistemological and Political-Social aspects, seeking the possibilities of articulation between faith and reason. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Theology at PUC-SP investigating the rationality of Christianity based on Divine Revelation.
