About the Journal

Focus and scope

Discursividades is a biannual electronic journal associated to the Department of Letters and Arts at UEPB. The journal is intended for the dissemination and discussion of works and research in the field of language and its articulation with historical and social practices. Considering the constitutive role of language in society, Discursividades will give rise, above all, to research whose investigated themes are permeated by the studies of Discourse, Languages/Languages ​​and their teaching. Thus, the journal houses productions dedicated to understanding the functioning of language in the various symbolic objects in society. Its objective is the dissemination of unpublished works, of a theoretical or applied nature, in the aforementioned lines. It publishes contributions from collaborators from Brazil and abroad that are written in Portuguese, Spanish, English or French. At least one of the authors of the work must have the title of Doctor or Master.

The journal Discursividades receives submission of articles in a continuous flow system.

No fees are charged to authors for the submission or publication of works.
